Cricket Scotland Board Resigns

The board of Cricket Scotland has resigned earlier today following yesterdays news that Sky News revealing “devastating” review into Scottish Cricket and how it is institutionally racist.

Whilst this may come as a surprise to the majority, many players and people have been calling out on racist abuse against them for some time, only to fall on deaf ears.

A deeper and more thorough investigation needs to be carried out and if any of the governance policies were adhered to by members of Cricket Scotland.

Cricket is played by so many people from all faiths and background across the globe, especially in the south Asia where it is common for users to play everywhere from streets to beaches to stadiums and their gardens. It is deeply troubling that colour was so far deep rooted within the culture and hierarchy of Cricket Scotland.
